Before buying a tile, you need to calculate how much material you need, taking into account the battle, in order to buy the entire quantity from one batch at once.

If you plan to lay on a wooden floor, then it is better to lay 12 mm plywood first to level the surface. If the floor is concrete, then it is better to lay a layer of waterproofing between the tile and concrete.

First you need to remove the baseboards and door jambs. Next, mark the middle of the longest wall and draw it with a chalked cord. We do the same actions for a relatively short wall. Next, you need to lay out the tiles on the floor, taking into account the marked lines, in order to choose the most correct location of the tiles. If possible, do not cut the tiles near the walls, because.to. it ruins the whole aesthetic.

The next step is to apply glue per square meter in any of the corners outlined with a cord. Use a spatula to apply the adhesive evenly.

Start laying tiles on the floor. The tile should be well pressed to the adhesive base. For work, you will need a guideline for marking lines. Laying must be continued along one line on the entire area that is treated with glue.

If the pattern on your tile requires distance between the tiles themselves, then special corners should be used so that the distance is the same.

Further, the laying of tiles is continued from the center of the room to the walls, and the direction of the lines drawn with a cord must be observed. We lay out one half of the room. After that, you should start working with the second half. In the process, you need to check whether the tiles are on the same level. If there is a difference in height, apply more adhesive solution under this tile. Next, the glue should dry well. If you have openings left unfilled to the wall, then to fill them, cut the tile with a cutter.

As the glue has dried, it is recommended to cover the porous tile with a tile primer. Next, a solution is applied with a rubber scraper in the gap between the tiles. Excess solution is wiped with a damp sponge after it dries. Polish the floor with a dry cloth.
